My expression - Arising tide lifts all boats

1. Tuesday, October 3, 1963.
2. I saw this expression online http://www.heraldtribune.com/ when I was reading article about the US elections.
3. It is a saying or it could also be called an idiomatic expression, which was pronounced the first by John F Kennedy.
4. Yesterday, in trying to look for an article about US elections on Google, I found a piece of writing called “A rising tide lifts all boats.” The women’s good condition is the main idea of this editorial, but the title of the article seemed a little bit difficult for me. I decide to ask to my host family the signification of the sentence. The explanation of the expressed idiom was very interesting; this phrase was said by John Fitzgerald Kennedy to describe the idea that when an economy is developing well, all people will benefit from it. This clarification has made me understand more deeply the theme of the piece of writing; when women are in good condition, all of the people around them will benefit from it.

wElcOme tO mY blOg.....!!!

Hi, everyone !!!
My name is Thao. I am from Vietnam. I'm a person who likes sport. When I was in highshool, I used to be a soccer player in my school team. I also play basketball, too. I have been in America for 4 months. As you know in Vietnam, the weather is always so hot. Unfortunately, I came here in the summer, so I have been waiting for 3 months till the fall that made me feel a little cold. My summer break was so boring. My host family and I planned a vacation for this summer, unluckily, they were so busy of their work, so our picnic was canceled. During break time, I just stayed at home and did something- such as watching movie or chatting with my friends. Sometimes, my friend and I went to downtown for shopping or went to the cinema. Day by day, it made me feel so bored, so I wanted to go to school as soon as possible. Now, I'm at school and meet many new friends. I think it's good for me because I'm active person, and I want to make friends. Last quarter, I studied in the same class with Matt and Harry, you can see the picture of our class in Matt's blog. Ms.Gail is our teacher last quarter, and now I am happy to study in her class again. Kool...!!! Uhm, my parents and I talk together everyday, and they make me feel really confused about my major in the future. My parents want me to study about business, but I don't like it very much. Rightnow, I don't care about my future too much, just concern about ESL. I have to finish level 6 to go to college and then I will think about my major....hehe....so relax......and I'm so happy to tell you that after this quarter, I'll come back to my country in the break time....hehe....so kool...!!!! Thax for coming to my blog....!!!!
